Chairman

A distinguished Bangladeshi entrepreneur, diplomat, and corporate leader who began his business career at age 18 in 1979. Holds an Executive MBA and diplomas including Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard University and International Diplomatic Law from UNITAR. As Chairman of Shah Group he oversees construction, real estate, aviation, apparel, leather, and IT interests; as Chairman of Green Equity Partners Limited he channels his passion into environment-related businesses that bring sustainable, eco-friendly benefit to the country. Honoured seven times as a Commercially Important Person (C.I.P.) of Bangladesh, he has served as Honorary Consul General of Yemen since 2006 and President of the Consular Corps in Bangladesh (2018–2021).

Based in Western Australia, he is active across education, recruitment, healthcare, and investment ventures. He joined the Board of Green Equity Partners Limited to contribute to the company's strategic growth and sustainable value creation.

A senior capital markets leader with over thirty years of cross-functional expertise spanning stock broking, asset management, merchant banking, and custody services. At Green Equity Partners Limited he spearheads market entry and cross-border investment pipelines for structured equity, debt, and advisory mandates. He previously built GM Equity Limited from the ground up and served as CEO of BRAC EPL Stock Brokerage Limited. He holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Management from the University of Dhaka, an Executive MBA in Finance, and a Blue Ocean Strategy certification from INSEAD.
